Billie Eilish has recently sparked dating rumours after she was seen having dinner with a familiar face. The singer might be dating Jesse Rutherford, the frontman of alt band The Neighbourhood.

Last week, the two were spotted in vegan restaurant in Los Angeles. They arrived before 20:30 and left the place a bit before midnight. Billie was having noodles and stopping in between bites to share kisses with Jesse.

Last weekend, a video of the two surfaced online. Billie and Jesse were leaving a haunted maze at Halloween Horror Nights in L.A. and were seen holding hands and walk off with a group of people trailing behind them.

Their faces are not visible in the video, but it’s undeniable that it’s them. Their fans retraced their steps and concluded that they were both out that night in the exact same clothes.

Billie and Jesse have spend time together in August as well. It is possible that they started dating then.

The reactions regarding the possible couple have been mixed, mostly negative.

The reason this relationship is controversial is because Billie is 20 years old and Jesse 31. The 11 year age gap did not sit well with people. To add salt to the wound, Jesse and Billie have known each other for quite some time. This makes the relationship more problematic, because Jesse was close to her – not necessarily romantically – before Billie was an adult.

Billie has a reputation for keeping her relationships extremely private. She has not spoken out about any of her exes or about Jesse in public. The only way to get a grasp of the situation is through her song lyrics.

In an interview with Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp a couple of years ago, Billie said that she prefers to keep her relationships private.

“I’ve had relationships and kept them private, and the ones that I’ve had; with the tiny amount that I’ve let the world see, I regret,” she said.

“I think about the people that have made their relationships public, and then they break up, and it’s like: ‘What if it goes bad?’” Billie added.

Who is Jesse Rutherford

The 31-year-old musician co-founded the band The Neighbourhood in 2011. They rose to fame with the release of Sweater Weather, the hit single that’s recently seen a resurgence in popularity. The band has released a numer of albums with chart-topping hits, but currently they are on hiatus.

Jesse has had two known relationships. He dated Anabel Englund, a singer, songwriter, and record producer. The on and off relationship ended in 2014.

Shortly after the split, Jesse began dating Devon Carlson, a model, known for co-founding Wildflower Cases. They started dating in 2015 and broke up in November 2021.

Billie Eilish sparked relationship rumours with actor and writer Matthew Tyler Vorce after they were spotted on a coffee run together. Of course, she didn’t publicly confirm the relationship, but the two were together for almost a year. They broke up following cheating rumours.

Billie has also dated rapper Q, who also goes by the name 7: AMP. Their relationship started at the end of 2018. Billie even appeared on the rapper’s album cover, Bleaupro.

Billie and Q broke up after less than a year together. This was one of the few times she spoke about her personal life. Following the break up, she said:

Billie just announced Happier Than Ever, a Hometown Encore, two special December shows at Kia Forum, in Inglewood, California. To celebrate the global success of her second studio album, Happier Than Ever, Billie decided to perform in her hometown.

She is also a co-chair in the Campaign for Music Education, started by The Grammy Museum. The campaign’s goal is to raise $3-5 million for educational programs.
