Catherine Zeta-Jones will play Morticia Addams in Tim Burton’s series

Oscar-winning Catherine Zeta-Jones has been announced as Morticia Addams in Tim Burton’s new Netflix series.

Katherine’s Wednesday is a supernatural comedy series about a teenage girl. Wednesday – the Addams’ daughter, who is attending Nevermore Academy, has psychic abilities and resists monstrous incidents, and unravels the mystery of her parents.

Jenna Ortega will play Wednesday Addams, while Zeta-Jones will be her mother, Morticia, and Luis Guzman is likely to play the role of her father, Gomez Addams.
