DaBaby shooting new video in New York after backlash

Dababy returned on stage at the Hot97’s Summer Jam concert event held in theMetLife Stadium in New Jersey on the weekend.

Again addressing the critics about his offensive homophobic remarks he made about the LGBTQ+ Community. As the rapper made his way on stage a video montage played with his voiceover saying: “allowed me to share my gift, share my blessing with y’all out here live on this stage amongst all the chaos and all the backlash.”

A number of celebrities including Elton John and Dua Lipa condemned the rapper and he wrote an apology regarding the controversial remarks on Instagram:

“Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate and learn from your mistakes,” the previously posted statement read. “As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me — knowing that what I needed was an education on these topics and guidance — has been challenging.”

“I appreciate the many people who came to me with kindness, who reached out to me privately to offer wisdom, education and resources. That’s what I needed and it was received,” he continued. “I want to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community for the hurtful and triggering comments I made. Again, I apologize for my misinformed comments about HIV/AIDS and I know education on this is important.”

“Love to all. God bless. – DaBaby.”

Today Dababy was also spotted on the streets of New York shooting a new music video with some local rappers.
