Daniel Craig Received the Same Order That James Bond had
Daniel Craig has entered the New Year Honours 2022 Overseas and International List: Order of St Michael and St George.
He became a companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George – the same title was held by James Bond himself!
According to the plot of Ian Fleming’s book, James Bond received the Order of St Michael and St George in 1953.
This Order was established in 1818 and is usually awarded for achievements in the field of diplomacy and intelligence.
In addition to Craig, several politicians and diplomats were awarded this and other orders of knighthood, but Daniel received it “For services to Film and Theatre”.
Recall that Daniel Craig played the role of James Bond from 2006 to 2021, appearing before the audience in five films about the brilliant spy.
In September 2021, the last part of the James Bond movie with Craig, entitled “No Time to Die”, was released worldwide, where 34 y.o. actress Lashana Lynch played agent 007 for the first time in the history of the film franchise.
So let’s go back and take a look at some exciting moments while filming No Time to Die!
