A woman abandons her car by the Hudson River and jumps into the water with her ferret!

A woman abandons her car by the Hudson River in Weehawken and jumps into the water with her ferret. She and her pet were saved by the Coast Guard.

The woman, who told a Hoboken police officer and claimed she wanted to harm herself before driving off and ended up in the Hudson River with her pet ferret.

The Police officer alerted other officers nearby to keep an eye out for thedistraught woman, who ditched her car in the middle of a street and jumped into the River.

Police Officers declined to comment on the woman and ferret, saying the incident was “under investigation.”
