Ed Sheeran wins Best Artist of the Year at MTV EMA 2021

British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran (Edward Christopher Sheeran) was named Best Artist of the Year at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards.

This was announced on the official Twitter account of the music awards.

In addition, Sheeran won the Best Song category also. He received an award for the track “Bad Habits”. His main competitors were Justin Bieber with the song Peaches, singer Olivia Rodrigo – Drivers License and Doja Cat – Kiss Me More, rapper Lil Nas X (Montero), and Kid Laroi – Stay.

The MTV European Music Awards ceremony took place in Budapest, Hungary.
