Kate Middleton Publicly Played the Piano During a Charity Concert and Sparked Excitement on Social Media
The Duchess of Cambridge first demonstrated her piano talent at the Together at Christmas charity concert.
Kate Middleton accompanied Scottish singer Tom Walker on the song “For Those Who Can’t Be Here”.
Fans expressed their delight in the comments:
“THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE IS AN AMAZING PIANIST their performance was so beautiful and I’m so proud of her”
“Just waow! Could she be any more perfect”
“THE FUTURE QUEEN IS AN AMAZING PIANIST”
Kate approached Walker with a request to perform together at a Christmas concert after she admired the musician’s singing at a charity event.
Tom, of course, agreed and shared on Instagram his enthusiasm for working with the Duchess:
“Tomorrow night I’m joining @dukeandduchessofcambridge in Westminster Abbey It was such an honor to be a part of Together At Christmas. I’ll be performing my new Christmas tune to remember those who can’t be here with us this year”
Music occupies a fairly large place in the life of the Duchess, as she took piano lessons for several years.
Despite this, the wife of Prince William has not yet performed in public, so during the first rehearsal with Tom, she was worried.
“Together at Christmas brought together so many inspirational individuals for a night of wonderful carols and music. But above all, it was about celebrating the goodwill, acts of kindness, love, empathy, and compassion which have helped people come through these difficult times. Thank you to all those involved in making this happen. From @WestminsterAbbeyLondon to @WindsorGreatPark and @The_RHS for the wonderful decorations; as well as the performers, readers and all those organizations who nominated people to attend.”
