Johnny Depp shares two children with his ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis. You might know Lily-Rose Depp from her modelling career. Meanwhile her brother, Jack Depp, shies away from the spotlight and prefers a private life. Jack, 20 years old, seemingly, has no social media profiles and is rarely photographed.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis started their relationship in 1998, shortly after filming “The Ninth Gate” together. In the following years they became parents to Lily-Rose Melody Depp and Johnny Christopher “Jack” Depp III, or just Jack Depp. The siblings were born three years apart. Jack was only ten years old when his parents decided to end their marriage. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were together from 1998 to 2012. Lily-Rose is now 23 years old, meanwhile Jack is 20 years old.

Depp has said that having children has provided him “a real foundation, a real strong place to stand in life, in work, in everything. You cannot plan the kind of deep love that results in children. Fatherhood was not a conscious decision. It was part of the wonderful ride I was on. It was destiny. All the math finally worked.”

The private life

Unlike his sister, Jack has decided to live a quiet and private life. Their mother, Vanessa previously shared that she tried to shield her children from the cameras and the spotlight. “I indeed keep them away from the cameras, because I don’t want our children to be forced to share in our fame against their will. They didn’t ask for that,” she told Weekend Knack.

Jack’s talents

To no ones surprise, Jack is very talented. Both his parents are artists, and that must count for something. According to his dad, Jack shines in drawing and music and is “a very talented draftsman.”

“He draws really super well. He also plays music very well. He’s got a good feel for that,” the actor added. Johnny also shared that Jack has no interest in following in his footsteps and becoming an actor. The 20 year old is keen on music and has even started a bad. Johnny told Rolling Stone magazine that he was filled with joy when he found out, stating: “That’s my kid!”

The bond with his sister

Both Jack and Lily-Rose were born in France and fluently speak their mother tongue. They are quite close to each other. They even use French as their own secret language they invented to not be understood by others while pursuing education in America.

“When my brother and I were at the same school, whenever we wanted to say something that was going to stay just between us, we could say it in French and nobody would understand,” Lily-Rose told Interview magazine.

Their sibling bond is even noticeable in the throwback photos Lily-Rose shared for Jack’s 18^th birthday in 2020.

“My little baby Jackie is 18. My baby bro, my heart and soul, happy birthday,” she wrote. “I love you SO MUCH!”

On one of the few occasions Jack Depp decided to step out into the limelight was in 2015 for Paris Fashion Week. His sister, only 16 at the time, was walking the runways. Jack wanted to show his support, despite his dislike for public events.

Jack Depp’s model girlfriend

Since Jack truly keeps everything to himself, not much is known about his love life. In 2020, he was photographed with French model Camille Jansen. It was reported that the two were a pair and that they were dating. For Jack’s 18 birthday, Camille shared a post of her and her boyfriend. “Happy birthday my love,” she wrote.

They have not been seen together since 2020, and we don’t know for sure if the relationship has stood the test of time. The post is still showing on her profile, but from what we can gather from the comments in the post, Camille and Jack are no longer together. Nonetheless, Camille maintains a good relationship with Lily-Rose.

Johnny’s tattoo

Even though they’re no longer together, for Jack and Vanessa, their children’s happiness is the most important thing in the world. The actor admitted to Rolling Stone: “With my kids, they’re told 75 times a day that they’re loved.”

Johnny has dedicated a tattoo to his son, Jack. He inked a sparrow flying over the sunset waves with Jack written underneath. The actor has tattooed his daughters name on his chest.

The health scare

In 2018, Vanessa Paradis was not present at the premiere of her film “Knife and Heart” because Jack had fallen ill.

“Unfortunately, Vanessa Paradis could not join us this evening. She had to be absent because of the serious health problems of her son,” director Yann Gonzalez told the reporters at the time.

Even though The Depps didn’t share any information about their sons ailment, it was not the first time they had to deal with something of the kind. In 2007, Lily-Rose spent several weeks in the hospital with kidney failure. The cause was an E-coli infection.

The trial

Regarding the legal battle between his father with Amber Heard, Jack has made no comments, no declarations, no statements. In 2018, Johnny said to GQ: “I’m sure it wasn’t easy for my 14-year-old boy to go to school. Why did he have to go through that?”

The resemblance

Jack is properly all grown up now, and you can’t deny the resemblance to his father. In one of the few times Johnny shared images of his son, the internet went crazy. The photo the actor posted on Twitter went viral and the comments made sure to note how much alike the two look.

It is unclear where Jack lives and what he is working on, but we can assume that is intentional. Jack Depp remains very private.
