MTV Entertainment Studios inks new deal with creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone through 2027

MTV Entertainment Studios has announced a new and expensive deal with co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, which includes the extension of South Park on Comedy Central until 2027.

The source recalls that South Park received its 19th Emmy nomination for the Pandemic Special for Outstanding Animation Program.
The series has won five Emmy Awards and a George Foster Peabody Award to date.

Comedy Central South Park opened on August 13, 1997. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are co-writers for South Park and executive producers for South Park. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are Producers. Chris Brion is the Creative Director of South Park Digital Studios.
