Penelope Cruz arrives at the Venice Film Festival and looks Stunning

Penelope Cruz has finally arrived at the Venice Film Festival and she has already turned heads with her stunning assembles.

The Oscar-winning actress wore a stunning tweed Chanel jacket and a smart black dress that detailed white tassels, for the photocall of her upcoming movie, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival, called “Madres Paralelas”.

Penelope stars in the highly anticipated movie “Madres Paralelas” as Janis, which is directed by Pedro Almodovar. The film follows the story of two women who meet in a hospital room and they are both about to give birth. This is Penelope Cruz’s 8th collaboration with the award-winning director.

The actress has been staying in Italy with her lovely husband, Javier Bardem, and their children for a while now, as Cruz is currently working on her forthcoming Italian film L’immensita. Cruz will play the main character named Clara, which is a mother in the movie directed by Emanuele Crialese.

The film will give a portrait of a family in the 1970s during a turning point in Italian society and will be a story of a symbolic love, the one between Clara and her children set in Rome. Emanuele spoke to Variety earlier this year about the film and stated that it is “ a world suspended between neighborhoods under construction and TV shows still in black and white, new social achievements and old family models”.

We can’t wait to see what else is in store for the Oscar-winning actress.
