The Foo Fighters release their 2022 tour dates
The Foo Fighters are the latest band to announce their new tour dates for 2022, after nearly 2 years of canceling concerts due to the global pandemic.
The announcement comes with a series of tour dates and locations, including details of four massive UK stadium concert shows for the summer of 2022. One of the gigs will be at the Manchester Emirates Stadium on the 22nd of June, the next concert date will be on the 27th June at Birmingham Villa Park and there will be two more shows at the London Stadium on the 30th of June and 2nd of July.
Dave Grohl, the lead singer of the band, stated that “We can’t f**cking wait to get back to the UK” he continued adding “It’s been far too long. Get ready to make up for lost time with some long a** nights of rock and roll”.
Joining the Foo Fighters at their shows will be some major stars such as St Vincent, Loose Articles, Courtney Barnett, Hot Milk, and Shame. The artists will take the stage as opening acts to get the crowds ready to have the time of their lives.
The band is currently touring around the US where they have played at Chicago’s Lollapalooza Festival and at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where they played their first full capacity venue in over a year.
The audience will get the chance to rock out listening to the band perform their classic hits but also their songs from their latest album, which was released in February, called ‘Medicine At Midnight’
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 20th August from 9 am BST, you can book your tickets at www.foofighters.com/tour-dates
