Tom Cruise lands his helicopter in a family’s garden in Warwickshire
Tom Cruise has pulled an ultimate Mission Impossible by landing his helicopter in a family garden.
Yep, you heard that right, the movie star decided to land his helicopter in a garden at Warwickshire because, as he stated, “he was late”.
Although it sounds like a scene from one of Cruise’s movies, it really happens and shocked the family who was relaxing in their home. The reason the helicopter, that was carrying Tom Cruise, landed in the family’s garden was because the local airport in Coventry was closed.
Tom has been in the UK filming the last installment of his Mission Impossible franchise and was reportedly late to his set, which inspired him to land in Alison’s Webb’s garden.
The BBC reported that the family had no idea that Tom Cruise was in the helicopter and had been told that there was “an unnamed VIP who was running late”.
It seems the Mission Impossible star was not in a hurry as he took his time to take photos with the family and also gave the children of the family and the parents a ride on the helicopter.
Alison Webb told BBC News “I thought it would be kind of cool for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden. He [Tom Cruise] basically arrived and got out and it was like, ‘Wow.’ He went straight over to the children for a chat, then came over and elbow bumped us and said thank you very much. Then he said if the kids would like they could go up in the helicopter.”
Well this will make an epic story to tell their grandchildren.
