Wolf Webster might have a new name
Wolf Webster, Kylie Jenner’s second child, is due for a name change. Soon after making his name public, Kylie shared that she was not convinced and will soon reveal her son’s real name. To date, she hasn’t kept her promise, but the secret might have been revealed by an odd source.
True Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, slipped during the season two premiere of The Kardashians. In the scene, Khloe was FaceTiming her daughter from the hospital, holding her newborn son.
“Who do you want to see?” Khloe asked her four year old through the screen. “Baby brother,” she responded. And when Khloe turned the camera toward the sleeping baby, True greeted him: “Hi Snowy!”
“His name is not Snowy,” Khloe corrected her, without giving it much notice. Now, the fans are convinced that True was actually calling her cousin’s name, Kylie Jenner’s son previously known as Wolf Webster.
The fans theory
It was TikToker Marissa Spagnoli that started the theory. In a video, she pointed out how the name has a ring to it and how much it goes with Stormy, Kylie and Travis’s first child.
“Snowy? Snowy and Stormi! Snowy baby! It has a ring,” Spagnoli commented. “I think Kylie’s baby name is Snowy. Because True called her brother Snowy… like what other baby would she think is Snowy,” the influencer wrote in a comment.
Why not Wolf
Kylie Jenner gave birth to a baby boy on February 2nd of this year. This is her second child with boyfriend Travis Scott. She shared the news via a black and white picture of the newborns hand. “2/2/22,” she wrote in the caption, along with a blue heart.
Before they announced their baby’s name, it was reported that Kylie and Travis wanted to make sure they loved the name. After telling the world their son is named Wolf, the couple changed their mind.
In an Instagram Story, Kylie explained what happened. “FYI, our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere,” she wrote.
Wolf Webster vs Wolf Hawkins
After sharing that she planned to change her son’s name, fans began speculating that it had something to do with her former best friend, Tammy Hembrow. Kylie was accused of stealing the name from her. The Australian YouTuber also has a son named Wolf with her former partner, Reece Hawkins.
Legally, Wolf Webster
While invited on The Late Late Show, Kylie Jenner and her mother, Kris Jenner, revealed to James Corden that the child’s name is still Wolf Webster.
“We haven’t officially legally changed the name,” Kylie said. “His name is still Wolf. His passport’s Wolf, but that isn’t gonna be his name. We’re just waiting.”
Despite that, the Kardashian Jenners don’t call the baby boy Wolf. “Well, what do you call him?” rightfully asked James Corden.
Kylie admitted that there is a name, but “we’re just not ready to share yet.”
She continued by explaining how often Travis, her children’s father, changes his mind. “Travis likes to sometimes… one day, he’ll be like, ‘Oooh, this name’s kinda cool,’ and change it again. So we’re just not officially probably gonna change it until…”
“He’s 21,” Kris Jenner finished the sentence.
What we know so far
During the interview with Corden, Jenner gave us a single clue regarding her son’s name: It is not an animal.
According to the birth certificate, we know that Wolf Webster full current name is Wolf Jacques Webster. Unlike his big sister, he has a middle name, chosen after his father. For those that don’t know, Travis Scott’s legal name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, so Jacques was taken directly from that.
Other theories
For Father’s Day, Kylie threw her beau a party. In one Instagram Story, fans made out a drawing of two stick figures, presumably drawn by Stormi. The bigger one was named Daddy, while the second Jacob. Naturally, fans were convinced that was Stormi’s younger brother’s name.
Another theory was fuelled by an Instagram account, reportedly belonging to Mason Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s son.
Someone asked him “What’s Kylie’s baby’s name” and he answered with “Knight Jacques Webster.” Fans quickly drew comparisons between Stormi and Knight. When you put them together it sounds like “stormy knight.”
More clues on Wolf Webster
Gossip page DeuxMoi had a few other clues. During a Q&A, a follower asked “Any clue what Kylie ended up naming her baby?”
“Yes, I’ve heard a name, but I don’t know if it’s confirmed. Depending on how she spells it, the name could be either an adjective or a noun,” the account answered.
It DeuxMoi is right, that leaves out Jacob and Knight. Snowy is an adjective, but could it be spelled as a noun?
How Kylie decided for Stormi
Since this isn’t Kylie’s first child, we can look back to see how she decied on her daughter’s name. Before settling for Stormi, she had two other names in mind: a really weird one and a pretty normal one.
“I looked up names and I saw Storm and I really like that, but i wanted her to have an ‘ie’ at the end of her name like me,” she explained. “Kylie and Stormie. So, it was that at first and when I was pregnant I used to call her Stormi when I would talk to her in my belly and it just always felt right. I had one more name that I liked. I had two names that I honestly liked better than Stormi, but when I had her I just felt like she chose her own name and I just couldn’t imagine any other name other than Stormi.”
Kylie did not reveal the weird name, but the normal name was “Rose.”
Maybe that’s what she’s waiting for with her son as well. A name she couldn’t imagine him without.
